VISUAL INSPECTION

The first step of the test and tag process. Carefully inspecting each appliance and/or lead for damage, defects or modification to the cord flex, connections, guards, covers and plug by our competent technicians. Once the technician is satisfied the item is visually sound, step two of the process occurs.

ELECTRICAL TESTING

The purpose of electrical testing is to detect unobservable faults not found by the visual inspection process. The item’s insulation, earthing and polarity may be tested to ensure it is electrically safe.

RCD or Safety Switch is an important safeguard against electrocution and fire because it is designed to disconnect the power in your business/home in case of an electrical fault or faulty appliance. These are also an electrical device and subject to fail, so need to be tested regularly.
